Kolby and Jaxon
Papa and Jaxon
Look at those smiles!
Playing at Aunt Carol's house!
I wish summer could go on forever. Our little family has been so busy, and it has been great! I am currently suffering from horrible "baby brains" and so left my camera in Jefferson City over the 4th of July. :( We changed up tradition this year and stayed in the KC with Mom and Dad, rather than traveling to Iowa. We played in the pool a lot with Greg, Erin, Liam, and Brianna and even had a chance to visit with Carrie and Aiden Aquino. Jaxon handled fireworks pretty well. Last year he slept through fireworks so we were a little nervous. If it hadn't been for the incredibly loud BOOMS, I think he would have loved them. Next year Im sure he'll think they are great!
Kolby has been super busy since arriving in JC. He has attended baseball camp, spent days with his grandparents and great-grandparents, gone to movies, swimming, played in the creek, built a pinewood derby car....the list goes on and on. It's hard to believe that in a couple weeks he will be back in Texas and the house will only contain Wes, Jaxon, and myself.

On that note, our family of 4 will be a family of 5 in September. Ainsley is growing like a weed! At my 31 week appointment she was weighing in at a whopping 4 lb 10 oz. This put her 2 weeks ahead of where she should be. :) Other than causing her momma few aches and pains, she is doing fabulous. We are getting very excited to meet our little princess.
I'll attach pics of the nursery when her furniture has been re-finished and is back in the room!
Until next time....
