We're baaaack...

Yep, he almost fell in the trash can while trying to retrieve the remote he just dropped in there.
No one has any idea how this little face makes me feel. Unbelievable!

Wes's finished project!

Whoa! Now that was a break from blogging! How long has it been 1, 2, 3 months? Too long. It amazes me how every day life is so flippin' busy! Not too much going on in the Weider household these days. Here's a little bit to get you caught up...

Wes: Wes is still working like a mad man. He absolutely loves his job, and is very good at it. He most recently helped his uncle tear down and replace our deck. The old deck was rotting and, well, not the safest place for a person who wants to be some 15-20 feet off the ground. He has also found time for some golf and a few games of poker here and there.

Jaxon: Jaxon turned 9 months old on the 1st. He is average when it comes to his weight, 21 pounds (60th percentile), and above average for head circumference (95th percentile) and length 30 in (97th percentile). He is just starting to cut the top two teeth and isn't a huge fan of any food item that has chunks or bits in it. He is pulling up on everything and beginning to move himself along furniture. Jaxon's most recent "accomplishment" was climbing the bottom set of stairs. He scoots himself right up those stairs with no problem. We haven't tried going down the stairs quite yet.

Kolby: Kolby will be with us either tomorrow evening or Monday. He will be here until the beginning of August. That seems so far away, but always goes by in a flash. Kolby turned 11 in May. I'm looking forward to having a helper this summer!

Me: Not much is new with me. I am off for the summer. No summer school this year. I haven't quite wrapped my head around this because I have taught summer school the past 5 years. I think this may be a blessing in disguise...I get to spend the WHOLE summer with Kolby and Jaxon.

So, that's what's occurring in the Weider household at this time. Hopefully, it won't take another 2 months for me to update this site! :)
