Baby Shower #2

On the 4th of July, my Aunt Sue and Cousins Ginny and Meggan threw me baby shower. It was so nice be able to spend time with all of the "girls" on the Cronin side of the family. The shower started with Aunt Sue reading nursery rhymes that she thought pertained to Jaxon and myself which was so creative and memorable. Next, the ladies were offered a snack (adorable puppy and bootie cookies) and then it was gift opening time. As I opened each gift the person who purchased it told a favorite memory of theirs that included me. It brought back so many fun memories. Finally, at the end of the shower each of the ladies wrote to Jaxon and me in a "Thoughts for Jaxon" book. I didn't attempt to read it at the time knowing that I cry at the drop of a hat these days. However, I did read it when we returned home and was truly touched by the thoughts and advice given.
In the pictures above I am holding a couple of the gifts I recieved. One is an awesome picture that Mike and Jenn made using pictures they had taken around KC to spell out JAXON. I LOVE it! The diaper bag was from Mom and Dad. Im already trying to figure out all the stuff you are supposed to put in there. Ha! Finally, no picture is attached, Greg and Erin bought us our video camera! What a surprise. I cannot wait to start taking video of my little man in just a few short weeks.
