Black Friday

Mom and I have a tradition that every year on the day after Thanksgiving we shop 'til we drop. Note: We are not the crazy people that start at 4 a.m. Mom and I rolled out of bed around 10 a.m., got dressed, and checked out the coupon situation. By 11:30 a.m. we were on our way to Independence Center. We tootled around the mall for a while, grabbed some lunch, and headed to Gordmans. We always have a great time and get a little bit of shopping done too. I think I almost look forward to Black Friday with Mom more than Thanksgiving.
Check out our coupon stash!

After our busy day shopping, Mom, Dad, and I meet the Cronin's down at Crown Center. This year we didn't make it in time for the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas tree, so we just met at Jack Stack BBQ in the Freight House District. Again, it was an evening filled with good food and good company.

My mom and I generally always do Black Friday too, but this year I stayed in Lee's Summit, and didn't want to go by myself so I didn't go :( Next year, maybe I can join you and your mom if I am in town - LOVE good company and good food - ha!
