Christmas Rounds 2 and 3

Christmas Eve, Wes, Jaxon, and I went to Memaw and Papa Weider's house. While there we ate way too much food, played the "sticky note" game, and opened many, many gifts. Jaxon received many fun toys from his family. The toys have been opened, put together, and played with by Wes and Myself Jaxon.
What!? We had to make sure they were safe!
Anyway.....Christmas Eve night, Wes and I left Jefferson City and headed through a winter wonderland, a.k.a Missouri, to Kansas City. I do believe we drove through every type of inclement weather to get to Grandma and Poppi Boyd's house. I have never driven so carefully in my life. It's amazing how having your sleeping child in the car, in those conditions, heightens your awareness of EVERYTHING going on. I must say, I NEVER want to drive through a blizzard again.
We arrived safe and sound after 3.5 hours of driving at 35 mph.
Christmas morning I awoke to the sweet sound of my nephew saying, "Santa Claus came!" What an awesome way to begin the day!!! It was too much fun watching Liam and Brianna open their stockings and presents. I thought Liam was going to burst when attempting to get all of us adults upstairs to open presents. We just weren't moving fast enough.
Here are a few pictures from our White Christmas in Kansas City....
