No one can explain it, describe it, or prepare you for it. Motherhood is an amazing thing. I could never have imagined the amount of love I would have for my little boy. Jaxon is so amazing. He is only 2.5 weeks old, yet he has already learned so much. I love to watch him as he looks around and when he sleeps. I constantly wonder what he is thinking about and pray that he makes good choices in life when he is older.
Jaxon is a good baby. Right now he eats every 2 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night. He fusses when he is hungry, cold, and/or dirty. He loves his swing, vibrating seat, and activity mat, which is beneficial when I need to accomplish something. He has lost some of his hair, but still has a head full. He smiles and coos in his sleep and is constantly wiggling. The last few days he has been spending more and more time awake which his mommy loves! I am definitely going to miss these days when they are gone. I have found that I am very fond of the newborn stage. I take each day as it comes and cherish every moment I have with my son.

awwwww... that was a good post. I remember those first days, weeks, and months. They are truly the best!!! The feelings you feel being a mother is definitely nothing you can put into words but it's a blessing and something to be cherished.
