The past couple of weeks Wes has been very busy working on Jaxon's room. We recieved his bedding and then it was go time. Wes has been so good at getting the room put together. He had a few people who offered to help him, but when conflicts arose with their schedules Wes went on ahead without them.
Just an FYI. When we moved into our new house we automatically chose a particular room for our future baby. This room was purple top to bottom. Last summer I got anxious and took down the purple flowery border and put on one coat of ceiling paint (Yes, the ceiling too was purple). Wes had to go back add another coat of ceiling paint, use Kilz to cover up the purple, and then put on the coats of paint that we chose for Mr. Jaxon. Lastly, we have wanted chocolate colored dots throughout the room to compliment the bedding set. After a couple of trials Brenda and Wayne figured out a way to make the dots so that they looked great! Here are some before and after pictures of Jaxon's room.
