The Magic Tree

Wes and I drove to Columbia to finish up some shopping on Friday night. While there we went by the Magic Tree. This is a crab apple tree that has EVERY single branch covered in Christmas lights. This year there are 75,000 lights on the tree. It is amazing. I first saw this tree on my principal's blog. Pictures do not do it justice. It is huge and absolute breath-taking in person. If you are ever in Columbia it is worth the drive!

I want to see this tree so bad, I have heard about it - first from Beth I think - and have wanted to make a trip there to see it in person. Thanks for posting the pictures - did you take these, they are awesome!
